Middle of the night insanity

It's 1:45 am and I just finished efiling the taxes. Ahh insomnia my sweet sweet foe. Though you plague me so, I get so damn much done!

Tonight DH hung my shadow box shelves so I can display my Ohio art tin kids tea set.. I am so in love with it. Its got a poodle pushing a stroller with her poodle pups in it... Very 50s / early 60s ish. Something I can collect that DH can't break! Of course putting up the shelves involved a lot of cussing. DH is extremely anal retentive about shelves and picture frames. He can half ass some things but woe the frame that is 1/16th of an inch crooked. He made 3 extra holes in the walls due to his pursuit of perfect and I mean PERFECT straightness. He then spackled up the extra holes... When I say perfect, my can do it all hubby took over 2 hours to hang these things.... So tomorrow when the spackle is dry I can put up my tea set. Of course, it will come down in a week or two so I can paint that wall... But till then it will look stunning and pretty and feel homey.

I am a klutz. Stubbed my toe 2 times tonight and scratched my leg. DH got so annoyed he hollered "if you hurt yourself again I'm going to beat you!" What? What? He threatened to open hand bare butt smack my ass in a not so friendly way to encourage me to be more careful? Meow!

Tessa is now coughing. I thought the plague had vacated the house, even took the kiddos to the YMCA today while i worked out. Sudden onset of a wheezy cough- I certainly hope she is not falling into the family asthma curse.
